from Mary-Ann Nied...

Dear friend Janet,
I think of the group cruise to the Caribbean in 2001. I missed out on the
Dunnes River Falls but we were 4 that went into Los Ocho Rios to shop.
You and Lou disappeared. Can't remember the other lady's name, but we
waited for a long time, afraid that we were going to miss last call to go
onboard. Well finally, here comes Janet & Lou with native braids adorned
with beads, looking like the local Jamaicans, but blond. Fun & laughs.
Also had great fun with you at the retreat in Big Bear many years back.
All of us were newly divorcees and cried at the singing. Our cabin of
about 10 ladies, made so much noise laughing that we were told by our
neighbors to be quiet. Suzanne snuck in a bottle of wine to a Baptist
Camp. We justified it calling it communion. You are so much fun to be
with. Your smile and heart are enormous.
Love ya lots & Happy Birthday
Mary-Ann

My happiest moment was sharing the birth of Gregory and Matt, being there to advocate for your health and safety as your older sister and as a Nurse. I was eleven when you were born, and boy do I remember getting some stares as I strolled you around the El Rancho area. It was fun! I loved it. We share a common bond with our small Church communities. Last weekend, we spent time at the beach, and as we drove through Elsie, I saw a double flower arrangement, and thought of your special priest that was killed on that two lane highway to beautiful beaches.
Nine mile walks on the beach...
good conversations...
Being there as an advocate for Mom

Singing together
Thank you for all that you do for everyone.

With all my love, Happy Fiftieth!

Laughing through life...

Jansey,

It is the night before your fiftieth birthday. Wow! You are just a baby!
What joy you brought to our family...another baby girl! 5 of us...and how remarkable Mom and Dad were.

We all have so many happy memories of our childhood and it is so wonderful to have you so close...my sisters are my best friends! We have laughed so hard together...too hard at times, if you know what I mean! and my favorite memories of our time together was from our vacation together in Switzerland. Oh my gosh! The flies! The cheese! Kids who were 8, 10, 12, and 14! Days of touring and down days when we lived as the Swiss lived... and how we laughed! I have never known anyone who could find so many things in life to laugh hysterically about...and it is so contagious! Keep laughing...you bring such joy to all of us!
